What One Day of My Coaching Did for This Therapist’s Launch

I just started a free telegram group for therapists and coaches (if you want to join here !!) where I offered the first 3 to join a day in telegram privately with me.  Here’s what I did with one of them during our private coaching day to set them up for a successful launch.

and to feel confident doing so.

This therapist, who specializes in couples therapy and serves as a Breathwork Facilitator, has worked with me previously in a Strategy Call session and is someone I’ve just geniunely enjoyed chatting with over the past year.

I already knew some of what she was working on and used it as a guide so that we spent the day with a clear plan and goal in mind.

She’s currently working on creating a group coaching program for couples and really wants to transition into the coaching space so that she’s only seeing 1-2 therapy clients and can focus more on what she loves doing (coaching) while also creating a more comfortable lifestyle!

She has a full case load and because her work is so demanding and she was having referrals come in on their own, she had put social media and marketing on the back burner. 

She was so consumed with work and the additional trainings she’s been doing, that she made the executive discussion to out a pause on posting online.

She’s previously put a lot of effort into marketing and felt a sense of despair, like no matter what she was putting out there, it wasn’t bringing in clients the way her referrals were. So, she took a step back.

BUT, she’s tired of being tied to her chair and absolutely LOVES coaching couples instead of doing the mental health part, which has felt exhausting for her at the moment.

She loves teaching and KNOWS if she put a focus on coaching she’d be really good at it (and I FULLY believe that about her)

She also wants to be more present for her family- having a coaching offer would allow her to have the freedom she just doesn’t have right now seeing a full caseload- the sessions and documentation part takes SO much time away to where she has had no energy left to think about anything else.

And has realized if she wants THAT, she needs to go all in and focus on launching her group coaching offer WITH the proper support to ACTUALLY get her there.

She knows that the 60-minute weekly sessions aren’t enough time for couples to see the progress they need and in hindsight, has kept them from the growth she KNOWS is possible inside her coaching space.

She just wants to have one signature program for couples, and is done with the 1:1 work & relying finanically on this kind of work, and wants to foucs on what she TRULY loves to do- coach.

So, we spent the day mapping out exactly what she needs to focus on in her marketing to confidently speak to, attract, and nurture her audience to prepare them for an offer like hers.

We want to take the “guess work” out of marketing and give her a clear strategy to ensure she’s speaking to and appealing to her ideal client through her content in a way that calls them up AND feels good for her to do.

We did this by outlining EXACTLY:

→ Who her ideal client is for THIS offer

→ What about her offer stands out from what’s already out there and will appeal to her ideal client

→ Ways to intergrate this into her messaging and warm up her audience right NOW

Then, we worked on some content ideas and examples to really help her get clear on who she’s speaking to and what to do next so that she’s confident going into her launch.

By the time the day was up, she was:

-leaving with a clear plan

-clarity on how to speak to her ideal client through her messaging

-felt excited to go out make this group coaching program for couples happen!! 

And that it was something that was actually obtainable (and not just a pipedream)

She even left me the sweetest message.
