One of the biggest things therapists + coaches come to me and want to learn is how to create content that makes their audience go “she gets me. I’m IN!!” And the reason they come to ME?! Because I made THEM feel seen, understood, and ready to take that next step in working with with me.
let me show you exactly what I said to get my people IN
First things first, to create hooks that make my audience FEEL seen + called up...
I have to think WHO am I specifically speaking to and what do I want them to take away from my content.
This allows me to go DEEPER and speak more directly to the EXACT person I want in my coaching space so that I’m only calling in people I want to work with + then calling THEM to MOVE.
NOW, that I know who I am speaking to, I need to:
speak to where I KNOW they’re at right now- where they’re currently struggling and show them their gaps
speak to where they WANT to be and how we will get them there
speak on what I KNOW will work for them + how I know that, to position ME as the person to learn from
I want to make it clear to the reader that THIS piece of content is for THEM so they don’t just see themselves in it but know what they need to do NEXT (hire me) if they want those results
Here’s how I put that into 3 hooks that led to more inquiries than my average post and 4 figure sales:
1. “If you’ve been overwhelmed by the never ending cycle of what to post to get therapy + coaching clients interested and thinking ‘WTF am I missing?!’”
I know my ideal client has tried “all the things” and is ready to know what ACTUALLY works. So, I straight up told them wtf is up and what to change if they want to start signing client the way they say they do- and that made them MOVE.
Here’s how I put that into 3 hooks that led to more inquiries than my average post and 4 figure sales:
2. “You say this is your year to scale your therapy practice. You say this is the year you FINALLY do more work you love and launch your coaching offer. You say this is the year you get BOLDER. Share your opinions. Say the thing you knoww your people need to hear...”
I showed where I KNOW there are gaps in their marketing, and how to bridge those gaps so they actually get the results they want.
Here’s how I put that into 3 hooks that led to more inquiries than my average post and 4 figure sales:
3. “...I want to challenge you- even if you think your content is good... PROVE IT. Apply for the audit + let’s see”
I know my ideal client is ambitious and responds to being called on their ish. They want to be the BEST and a little friendly call out only fuels them to go bigger and sees it as an opportunity to learn + grow. Even in my free offers- I speak to my most aligned clients because I KNOW that they’re gonna be the ones that get the MOST out of our time together even if it’s “FrEe”
You may be thinking “maria, how can I use those hooks for MY ideal client?”
Simple. Take what you know about your ideal client- How do they move? What qualities do they uphold? What are they doing RIGHT NOW that is keeping them stuck and where are their cracks??
Show them to them. Say the thing you want to say, and then add how YOU lead. How you move as a the therapist + coach that allows your clients to feel safe, seen, and called up- and say THAT.
When you know WHO your therapy + coaching space is for, what about that person makes them right for your offer, and how to call them UP to take action- you no longer need to wonder “ what to post/ say ” to make your client buy.
& when you want this level of clarity your content knowing it’s about to bring in new inquiries and thousands in sales??
