Why Your Content as a Therapist is Attracting Therapists And Not Clients

I wanted to share a common concern that's been coming up a lot with new clients.

And let me know if you've experienced the same thing!

Recently, new clients have been expressing a similar concern when it comes to booking clients from social media; their main objective is to sign clients from social media for their therapy practice, a high-ticket offer like therapy intensives, etc, but instead of their DMs being filled with interested clients, they're getting a lot of other therapists commenting on their posts.

Are you noticing the same thing?

Here's what I tell my clients who want to start seeing bookings and filled out inquiry forms instead of "yes! same" from other therapist...

Let me hold your hand while I say this, with respect 👭

If therapists aren’t your ideal clients, you shouldn’t be making content that ONLY they can relate to

For example: talking about how you structure or do your client notes… you’re giving a solution to therapists, you’re being relatable to therapists…These are NOT topics that provide solutions to your IDEAL CLIENTS problem.

They don’t take or see client notes.

So, how you do client notes/ when you do them doesn’t interest your ideal client because they don’t FEEL/ SEE how that makes YOU the right person to work with.

Giving off the impression that your SERVICES, your work isn’t for THEM.

Instead, you need to be speaking directly to your ideal client’s needs in your content. You should be highlighting the transformative outcomes you provide your clients. You should break down how your high-ticket offer will benefit THEM.

If you are a trauma therapist who works with veterans, you make content for them.

NOT OTHER THERAPISTS 👏🏻👏🏻

This is ONE of the ways I support you in 1:1 coaching.

Inside I teach you how to speak to your ideal clients and attract them to your high-ticket offer through your content.

And ensure you are speaking to the RIGHT person in your audience in a language they understand that makes them feel supported., your content should tell your IDEAL CLIENT exactly who you help, how you help them, and what results you bring your clients.

If you’re ready to have an inbox filled with dream clients asking for details on your high-ticket offer instead of “I love this post!” from other therapist…

You need to be inside 1:1 coaching with me.

You can still make therapy friends on Instagram, in fact- I encourage it!!

WITH THAT if your main goal for marketing online is to sign clients, fill your high-ticket offer, or warm your audience for when you drop a workshop, you need to be creating content for your ideal client that is MEANT for your offer.

Who's waiting on YOU to speak to them, to inspire them, to make them feel READY to work 👏🏻👏🏻
