How One Vulnerable Post Brought Me 3 Booked Discovery Calls

A couple of weeks ago, I shared a more vulnerable post on MY experience of what it felt like 6 months into selling my coaching program and the inquiries weren't rolling in the way I hoped. I talked about what it felt like for me (a social media and marketing strategist) to offer a marketing program that wasn't attracting high level clients at the rate I expected. 😫 It's literally my JOB to get my clients do to just that- book out their offer, and when I wasn't doing that myself, I felt like a failure. BUT, I eventually realized I wasn't booking clients for my offer every week because I wasn't speaking to the level of client who my offer was for in my content. When I learned how to do THAT, I started to bring in consistent leads EVERY DAY. And by sharing my story with my audience, it really hit home with the RIGHT people, because by the end of the week that post brought me 3 booked discovery calls. Let’s be honest with each other, you’re not just another therapist who shows up on social media, posts a “What is X therapy” carousel, shares a “Do you struggle with…” story sequence and feels satisfied. You do WAY more for your in-person clients than just explain to them what therapy is. You’re out here literally changing lives with the work you do. And it feels superficial to post this way.You connect with your clients because of MORE than just a degree. But because you’ve been through it (or similar) yourself. And you want to share THAT.YOU want to be the therapist who says I SEE YOU. I GET YOU.You want people to find your page and feel UNDERSTOOD for the first time. You want DMs from people who know that YOU are the only person who see’s them for who they are. You just don’t know where to start. This is ONE of the things I teach you to do in 1:1 coaching. Inside, I’ll show you how to use your experiences to create content that makes your ideal client feel seen, heard, and understood. So they know that YOU are the therapist they want to work with.. |
